"I go Minnie's House"

We went to see Emily and Bettis in Bloomington last weekend, and all Bonnie has talked about this week is going back to see them. I can't blame her. We all have so much fun when we're with the Bettises. We don't get to see them enough!
While we were there, Bubby and Bettis did the "Big Bub's Burger Challenge" Adam Richman did this on Man vs. Food. He ate 3. Bubby and Bettis only ate one each, but they got their picture on the wall. This picture is to show how big the burger was. In the foreground is the "Mini Bub"-Bonnie's burger. Because it's in the foreground it appears bigger, but just compare the bun to the pickle on her plate. The middle one is mine (a regular quarter-pounder), and the one on the end is the Big Bub-it is as big around as a pie crust before it is cooked. At one point Bonnie said "You ok, Daddy?" Well, they both finished it-and got their picture on the wall as seen below. Way to go, Dad!
They chose the "We're about to puke" pose for their shot!

This picture is from earlier this week-Bonnie and Sam on Adelaide's tricycle built for two:)

Bonnie and Lucy Time

Day One: Monkey Joe's. It's hard to tell whether they liked bouncing or falling better. They also really enjoyed the cars, as you can see.

Uncle Dex has been in town for work this week, which is always fun. This week has been even better because Lucy and Aunt Mel were able to come, which means Bonnie and I had some quality time with the girls.

They are riding the train at the zoo in this one. They both loved that!

I love the relationship forming between these two. They are making lots of memories that we can joke with them about as they get older:)

Laid Back Since Way Back

We went to the outdoor store yesterday, and one of the t-shirts for sale said Topsail Island, NC-Laid Back Since Way Back". I like it. That's why I love this vacation so much-no hustle bustle-just hanging out, doing what you want. We've had a a great time so far. A perfect vacation for the end of the school year!
The girls swam in Lucy's blow-up pool yesterday morning. Fun!
They each ate an average of 6 popsicles yesterday-tiny popsicles, but still a lot!
I love my brother, yes I do!
Grandma and Pappaw with the grandgirls and their matching shirts!
